On the Charts April 28, 2005 - Rob and Gwen Make It On Their Own
Rob Thomas debuts at the top of the album chart with 'Something To Be.' Gwen Stefani gets her first #1 pop single as 'Hollaback Girl' rises to the top. Hot new singles are Coldplay's 'Speed Of Sound' and American Idol's 'When You Tell Me That You Love Me'
On the Charts May 5, 2005 - The Boss Is Back
Bruce Springsteen debuts at the top of the album chart with 'Devils and Dust.' He's still going strong after 30 years as one of the top American rockers. Gwen Stefani holds on to #1 on the singles chart with 'Hollaback Girl.' Other hot singles are 'Oh' by Ciara featuring Ludacris and the Dave Matthews Band's 'American Baby.'
On the Charts May 12, 2005 - Nine Inch Nails Return
Over 5 years after their last studio album Nine Inch Nails return with 'With Teeth' on top the album chart in their first week out. Gwen Stefani logs a third week at the top of the singles chart with 'Hollaback Girl.' Other hot singles are 'Oh' by Ciara featuring Ludacris and 'We Belong Together' by Mariah Carey.
On the Charts May 19, 2005 - Gwen Hangs Tough
Gwen Stefani has her first number one pop single and she doesn't want to let go. She is at the top of the singles chart for a fourth week with 'Hollaback Girl.' On the album chart the Dave Matthews Band debuted on top with their album 'Stand Up' while Weezer celebrated a number two debut for the album 'Make Believe.'

On the Charts October 14, 2005 - Nickelback's Album Dominates
Propelled by the success of their current #2 pop single "Photograph," Nickelback easily opened at #1 on the album chart with their collection 'All the Right Reasons.' Kanye West and Mariah Carey maintain their positions at the top of the pop singles and radio airplay charts respectively.
On the Charts October 7, 2005 - Gretchen Wilson Jacked Up
Country rebel Gretchen Wilson scored her first #1 pop album this week as 'All Jacked Up' debuted at the top. On the pop singles chart Kanye West held on to #1 once again with "Gold Digger" and Mariah Carey kept the radio airplay crown with "Shake It Off."

The band Nickelback soar into the top 5 with "Photograph," their second biggest hit pop single ever.

On the Charts September 22, 2005 - Mariah Carey Shakes Off the Competi
Mariah Carey holds on to the top spot in radio airplay with her single "Shake It Off." Kanye West similarly consolidates his position at the top of the pop singles chart with Carey right behind. Rapper Paul Wall steals the top spot on the albums chart.
On the Charts September 15, 2005 - Kanye West Tops the Singles Chart,
Kanye West's "Gold Digger" single, featuring additional vocals by Jamie Foxx, took over the top spot on the pop singles chart as his album 'Late Registration' held onto the peak position of the album chart for a second week. On radio, however, Mariah Carey hits the top with her new single "Shake It Off."
On the Charts September 8, 2005 - Kanye West Is Dominant
Kanye West easily takes over the album chart this week with sales of 'Late Registration' in excess of 800,000 copies. His current single "Gold Digger" takes an unprecedented jump from #94 to #2 on the pop singles chart. DHT's "Listen To Your Heart" holds on to the top spot at radio.
On the Charts June 9, 2005 - Mariah Carey On Top Of the Pop World
In a slow week for new albums, Mariah Carey has returned to the top of the pop singles chart for a second non-consecutive week with 'The Emancipation Of Mimi.' She also remains at the top of the singles chart with 'We Belong Together.'
On the Charts June 2, 2005 - Mariah Carey Holds Firm For Second Week
One week after reaching the top of the singles chart for her 16th time, Mariah Carey is holding on for a second week with 'We Belong Together.' Audioslave snags their first number one on the album chart with 'Out Of Exile.' Gwen Stefani continues to linger near the top of the singles chart and dominates radio airplay with 'Hollaback Girl.'
On the Charts June 16, 2005 - Coldplay Sweeps Away the Competition
In a banner week for new album releases, Coldplay swept away the competition selling over 700,000 copies in the first week of release of the album 'X&Y.' Gwen Stefani held on to the top spot of the pop singles chart with 'Hollaback Girl.'
On the Charts June 23, 2005 - Carrie Underwood Straight To the Top
With her first single release as American Idol champion, Carrie Underwood debuted at #1 on the pop singles chart. Coldplay held on to the top of the pop albums chart for a second week while Mariah Carey finally scaled to #1 in radio airplay with "We Belong Together."
On the Charts June 30, 2005 - Bo Bice Takes the Helm
With his first single since finishing as runner-up on American Idol, Bo Bice debuts at the top of the pop singles chart. Coldplay holds tight for a third week at the top of the albums chart, and Mariah Carey keeps a firm grip on the top at radio.
On the Charts July 7, 2005 - Mariah On Top Again
Mariah Carey has returned to a familiar spot this spring and early summer - the top of the charts. "We Belong Together" outlasts the 'Idol' onslaught of Carrie Underwood and Bo Bice returning to the top of the pop singles chart. She keeps a firm grip on radio airplay as well. Coldplay tumbles from the top of the album chart after 3 weeks with country star George Strait taking over.
On the Charts July 14, 2005 - R. Kelly Hits Big
R. Kelly makes a big splash at the top of the album chart this week with his new album 'TP.3 Reloaded.' Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" continues to dominate singles holding the top spots of both the pop singles chart and radio airplay.
On the Charts July 28, 2005 - Dolls To the Top
Without a doubt, the Pussycat Dolls move from the burlesque stage to the stereo speaker and dance club has been a success. Their single "Don't Cha" knocks Mariah Carey from the top. On the album chart 'Now That's What I Call Music! 19' debuts at #1 to become the seventh album in the series to reach the top.
On the Charts August 4, 2005 - Repeat Engagements At the Peak
The music in the top spot on the pop singles, albums, and radio charts are the same as last week. Pussycat Dolls log a second week at #1 on the pop singles chart with "Don't Cha." The 'Now! 19' collection holds firm on the albums chart for a second week, and Mariah Carey continues her lock at radio with "We Belong Together."
On the Charts August 11, 2005 - Faith Hill In Familiar Terri
This week country superstar Faith Hill achieved her third #1 debut in a row on the pop albums chart with her new set 'Fireflies.' The top 4 songs on the pop singles chart remained in the same positions as last week, but there was some exciting upward movement further down on the chart. On radio Mariah Carey continued to reign supreme with "We Belong Together."
On the Charts August 18, 2005 - Staind Land 3rd #1 Album In a Row
Following in the footsteps of Faith Hill last week, rock group Staind debuted at #1 on the albums chart with 'Chapter V,' their 3rd chart-topper in a row. The Pussycat Dolls hold firm at #1 on the pop singles chart with "Don't Cha" and Mariah Carey continues to dominate pop radio airplay with "We Belong Together."
On the Charts August 25, 2005 - Hilary Duff Proves She Is the 'Most Wanted'
Teen pop star Hilary Duff lands her second #1 pop album and the first to top the chart in its opening week. On the pop singles chart the Pussycat Dolls' "Don't Cha" logs a 5th week at the top and Mariah Carey clings to one more week at the peak of pop radio with "We Belong Together."
On the Charts September 1, 2005 - "Listen To Your Heart" On the Radio
DHT's dance-pop smash "Listen To Your Heart" topples Mariah Carey from the peak in radio airplay. Hilary Duff holds the top album chart spot for a 2nd week with 'Most Wanted,' and the Pussycat Dolls are on a 6th week leading the pop singles chart with "Don't Cha."
On the Charts July 21, 2005 - Mariah Carey Holds Off All Competition
Mariah Carey's "We Belong Together" has turned into one of the most durable hit singles of the year. It holds off all competition at the top of both the pop singles and the radio airplay charts. Meanwhile, on the album chart R. Kelly spends another week at the top with 'TP.3 Reloaded.'
